Cameroon’s geospatial position provides it with a diversity of agro-ecological zones, soils and subsoils, whose genesis has given them multifaceted and under-exploited wealth. The recent exploration of several hundred mining sites spread over part of Cameroon has revealed and confirmed precious minerals and rare earths. Despite this high productivity potential, we still deplore the under-exploitation of this sector of activity. For the economic emergence of Africa, it is urgent to promote the various existing sectors through the appropriation and sharing of existing technologies with the various actors. This multidisciplinary scientific meeting is, on the one hand, a contribution to achieving the objective of increasing, in quantity and quality, the production of agricultural products, in order to supply the growing demand of national agro-industries. On the other hand, while preserving the environment, it will be a question of evaluating the context of the exploitation of the subsoil through the extractive industries, the valuation of the mines via the development of the mining-metallurgy-steel industry, as wells that of development minerals.

Communications will focus on:

– The different irrigation techniques;

– Biofertilization;

– Genomic engineering and productions

– Phytopathology

– New processes for plant and animal production;

– Mushroom culture;

– Climate change and pollution control techniques;

– The use of new tools in mining;

– Mining products and applications;

– Development minerals.
