• Research areas: Food Engineering, Waste treatment and valorization, Bioenergy, Modelling, Process and design simulation, Biotechnology.
  • Short biography: Paul KOUTEU, Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Process Engineering at the National Higher Polytechnic School of the University of Douala, holds a doctorate in Engineering Sciences (Montpellier SupAgro) and Sciences & Technologies in Water, Energy and environment (2iE). His intervention research relates to the design, optimization and modeling of treatment and recovery channels for industrial waste and effluents for the production of (bio) value-added products, in particular biofuels and biomaterials. In addition, it works to assess the (bio) technological potential of uncharacterized local resources for the development of the bio-food industry and bioenergy. He gives full courses in topics such as unit operation (mechanical and transfer), Food engineering, Waste treatment and valorization and Process design & Simulation at the Master level. He has published numerous articles and papers in various high-ranked journals.
