• Research areas: Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering: water treatment and environment.
  • Short biography: Joseph SIELIECHI holds a PhD in Process Engineering defended in 2007 with honors at the University of Ngaoundere, Cameroon. His PhD research work focused on Coagulation-flocculation mechanisms of humic substances in water: influences of physicochemical and hydrodynamic conditions. Joseph SIELIECHI is currently Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Chemistry at the National School of Agro-Industrial Sciences (ENSAI) of the University of Ngaoundere. He teaches chemical engineering, calculations of chemical reactors, water and waste treatment processes, chemical reactors and complex catalytic system. My research work focuses on the valorization of local materials for the formulation and production of monolayer and multilayer ceramic filters for the physico-chemical and microbiological post-treatment of drinking water.
