  • Short biography: Pr. TCHOUMBOUGNANG François is of a holder a “Doctorat d’Etat” in Biochemistry, obtained in 2005 with very honorable score at the University of Yaoundé I, in Cameroon. His research activities are focuses on the valorization of natural and fisheries products of Cameroon for food and health security. Pr. TCHOUMBOUGNANG has published numerous articles internationally. He is also a member of several scientific societies. Academically, Mr. TCHOUMBOUGNANG, has been a Full Professor of Biochemistry since 2019 and teaches this Disciplines at the University of Douala as a permanent lecturer and as a part time teacher in other Institutions in Cameroon and abroad.

In terms of university governance, he is currently the Deputy Director and Head of the Department of Processing and Quality Control of Fisheries Products at the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences of the University of Douala at Yabassi.
