Preliminary steps to creation
- Hold a constitutive general assembly;
- Set up the management committee and the supervisory committee;
- Drafting of the statutes (referring to the OHADA document, uniform Acts relating to the rights of Cooperative Societies);
- Hold another constitutive general assembly to verify the statutes;
- Submission of files at the service of cooperatives;
- Creation of a bank account ;
- Submission of 5 copies of the file to the departmental section Coop/GIC.
The documents to be provided
- Stamped request at the current rate;
- Declaration of registration;
- Minutes of the constitutive general meeting;
- Statute and internal regulations;
- List of members, members of the management committee (CG) and the supervisory committee (CS);
- Declaration of honor (Art.10 OHADA) of the CG and CS;
- Status of subscription and payment of the initial share capital;
- Certificate of bank domiciliation or account statement;
- The account statement certifying the deposit of 1/4 of the initial share capital;
- Location plan of the head office;
- Photocopies of the National IDs of all members;
- A copy of the OHADA Uniform Act on cooperative societies.
Documents to receive
- Receipt and declaration of deposit;
- Certificate of registration (maximum 30 days later).

After creation of the society
Present yourself at:
- The Commercial Register for commercial cooperatives;
- The Tax Delegation for tax formalities if the activity is regulated by law (including commercial);
- Launching of activities.
