Short biography: Franklin Tchakounté is a researcher with more than 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity and data science with a strong background in distributed systems. He received his M.Sc. in Computer engineering from the University of Ngaoundéré and then his Ph.D Degree in Mobile Security from the University of Bremen. He authored books, book chapters and more than fourteen research papers in the area of cyber security and distributed systems. The papers reflect concrete solutions related to real-world user needs in terms of cyber criminality, privacy and protection. He has reviewed several research papers in reputed journals and conferences, attended international conferences and contributed to the development of evangelization of security throughout international organizations and projects. Dr.-Ing. Franklin Tchakounté serves as reviewer in IEEE journals as well as related conferences. He holds professional certifications in the network administration area and participated as (senior) members in ACM and UWB. He is devoted to be a cybersecurity leader in Africa, where he sustains several collaborations in North Africa, South Africa, West Africa, and Central Africa and where he delivers various online and onsite expertise.
