Research areas: Automation, Control command and Modelling of industrial processes powered with solar photovoltaic energy (industrial electricity, modelling, simulation and production of dryers, pumping station, centrifuges, supervision, regulation and optimisation of processes).
Short biography: Fabrice Tsegaing Tchatchueng holds a PhD in Process Engineering option Automatic Control, Equipment and Modelling at the National Advanced School of Agro Industrial Sciences (ENSAI) from the University of Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. His doctoral research focused on temperature regulation in a biomass dryer with heat recycling in order to standardize fish processing conditions and thus improve the quality of the dried smoked fish produced and sold locally. This theme shows Dr Tsegaing’s interest in impacting the immediate environment by integrating several resources and areas of expertise. Senior Lecturer at the UIT of Ngaoundéré, his teachings and labs focus on electrical engineering, electrical engineering technologies and maintenance, programmable logic controllers and industrial control and monitoring. The practical applications of this knowledge are also sought after by companies and individuals where he often acts for consultations or maintenances with a group of students, thereby helping them to better employability. Dr Tsegaing currently has three (3) publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and several participations in both national and international conferences and seminars. His motto could be drafted as “develop science to positively and sustainably change one’s living environment”.
