Short biography: Moussa Charlot holds a Doctorate / PhD in Water and Sanitation Management defended with very honorable mention at the University of Dschang, Cameroon. His doctoral research focused on the development of efficiency indicators for sustainable management of community water systems in Cameroon. He also has a postgraduate degree in management from the University of Cumbria in Great Britain and a DEA in rural development from the Ecole Supérieure Agronomique de Montpellier in France. Dr Moussa is very interested in transversal scientific activities enhancing the promotion of local resources for sustainable local development. Dr Moussa Charlot is currently National Coordinator of the ACP-EU Program for Development Minerals, implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with MINMIDT. Dr Moussa Charlot has a long experience of working in international NGOs. He was for more than 18 years program manager and national coordinator of water, hygiene and sanitation, natural resource management, gender and leadership projects for the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV). He was a research fellow for 10 years at the Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD) in Garoua, Cameroon. Dr Moussa has published several articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and several papers in national and international conferences.
