Implementation of water treatment processes by membrane filtration.
  • Short biography: Mr BIKAI defended his PhD in Process and Energy Engineering on December 15, 2015 at the University of Haute-Alsace of Mulhouse in France with very honorable mention accompanied with oral congratulations of the jury. During his thesis, carried out at the IS2M Laboratory, Mr BIKAI studied the evolution of the surface properties of a mineral material with a controlled porosity in ultra and nanofiltration tests. This study made it possible to understand the dielectric effects on the performance of mineral membranes, especially zeolites. The applications of his work have allowed the integration of membrane modules in the drinking water treatment chain in the municipality of Mulhouse. Currently, Dr BIKAI, is a Lecturer and Head of Department of Energy Engineering at the IUT of Ngaoundéré. He is a former student of ENSET in Douala and he was a teacher at the same establishment from 2008 and 2017. He teaches and co-directs research at the Universities of Douala and Ngaoundéré and is also an examiner in scientific journals.
